Bay of Islands The Landing
Port
Tasting Notes
The Landing Port is richly fruited and seriously complex, the aroma rewards with dried cherry, apricot, toffee and roasted nut characters. The palate is wonderfully rich, backed by silky-sweet texture and rounded mouthfeel. A soothing fortified wine.

Vineyard & Winemaking
Harvested from 2012 Syrah grapes at The Landing Vineyard on the Purerua Peninsula in warm growing conditions. The grapes for this single vineyard wine were hand-picked.

Vintage Notes
In homage to the pioneering winemakers of Northland, The Landing Port is respectfully hand-harvested and fortified for decades of enjoyment, tall stories and reminiscing of times past.

Here's to all who have come before us and those who will follow. As we say at The Landing: Whatungarongaro te tangata toitū te whenua / As man disappears from sight, the land remains.
Back To Our Wines
Warmed by Northland’s long summers, dried by the sea breeze and nurtured in ancient clay and sandstone soils, The Landing produces beautifully crafted wines.
